Capybaila is a student Latin dance event organized by Footloose. We have a focus on intermediate level dancers, who are also a student. This years edition offers a live band, six workshops, a dancing social in the evening and food options. All in the theme of the dancing capybara ~ Capybaila!

Get ready to spice up your dance life with Capybaila - the ultimate student Latin dance festival brought to you by Footloose! This year featuring no less than 6 amazing workshops, delicious lunch and dinner, the best Latin DJs, a live Latin music band and of course Capybaras!
Capybaila is focused on the dance styles salsa, bachata and kizomba. This years edition will be held on September 14th from 12:00 - 00:00 in the CKE building in Eindhoven. There will be workshops in the afternoon and a social in the evening. For more information check the schedule.
Workshops
Ready to up your dance skills? Well you're in the right place, since Capybaila has 6 amazing workshops in store for you! An intermediate level of the dance styles is adviced to enjoy the workshops to the fullest, but everyone is of course welcome to join.
Gulsah Gungoz
Gulsah is passionate about dance, with a strong background in bellydance and expertise in Urban Kizomba and Tarraxo. With experience across Holland, Belgium, and Turkey, Gulsah combines technical focus with a fun, playful approach to ensure an enjoyable learning experience.
Salsa Demoteam
Get ready for an amazing performance by the Footloose Salsa Showteam at Capybaila! This talented group of dancers, led by their instructor Rinus, is known for bringing high-energy salsa routines to life. With a focus on sharp choreography and technique, they're sure to impress the audience with their passion for salsa. Don't miss the chance to see them in action, showcasing their love for dance at one of the most exciting Latin dance events. Their performance is a perfect blend of teamwork, dedication, and pure salsa joy!

DJ El Varon
Get ready to dance all night with DJ El Varon from Salsa Rica, who blends Latin beats with Caribbean flair for an unforgettable night of tropical grooves and energy! Rinus is a passionate dancer, he even founded Salsa Rica in Belgium who won the Dutch Open Salsa Championships!
DJ Tinta
DJ Tinta has been immersed in music and dance for over 27 years. Born in Amsterdam, he competed in the Dutch Salsa Championships before turning to DJing in 2011. Tinta's is a key figure at Holland's top Latin parties, always aiming to give the crowd an unforgettable experience.
Son Del Mundo
Son del Mundo is a Latin band based in Noord Brabant, known for their amazing performances that bring the beautiful music of Latin America to life. Specializing in salsa, samba, bachata, and merengue, their music guarantees to get everyone on their feet. With a passion for Latin music and an astonishing stage presence, Son del Mundo delivers unforgettable performances which make sure audiences fill the dance floor.
